Christina’s Experience:
Christina has experience in both public and private practice. She has worked as a legal consultant and legal counsel for the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA), where she provided comprehensive legal services to the Consumer Credit, Consumer Protection, Corporate Services, Insurance and Real Estate and Pensions Divisions. At FCAA, she also had experience working in the role of Legal Counsel with the Securities Division. In this role she was responsible for the administration and enforcement of Saskatchewan securities laws, working to balance business and public interests in financial markets.
Prior to working at FCAA, Christina worked at MLT Aikins, a large Western Canada full-service law firm, where she maintained a general legal practice with a focus on corporate commercial law and labour law. In this role, she routinely assisted individuals and organizations with drafting contracts, corporate governance, labour law, and regulatory issues.
Christina’s philosophy as a lawyer is to understand the client’s needs and limitations in order to deliver practical and results-oriented advice and solutions.
