HOW DOES IT WORK? IT'S AS EASY AS 1,2,3,
STEP ONE: TELL US WHAT YOU NEED HELP WITH
STEP TWO: WE HELP YOU
STEP THREE: ENJOY YOUR EXTRA TIME
STEP ONE: TELL US WHAT YOU NEED HELP WITH
- If you are a lawyer and would like help with your overflow legal work, or have questions about our services, fill out the form below.
STEP TWO: WE HELP YOU
- We will contact you if we have any questions and we will connect you directly with a freelance lawyer (or law clerk) with the best experience for the project. No wasting time with an intermediary. However, Flex Legal's management team is always available to answer any questions and keep things moving behind the scenes.
- The freelance lawyer or law clerk will provide a quote for their services. If you want to hire this freelancer, they will provide you with a Freelance Agreement setting out the terms of engagement and the scope of the project.
- Once the project is completed, Flex Legal will send you an invoice. No additional fee is charged by Flex Legal to you, the hiring lawyer. You can pass the freelancer's fees on to your client "as is" or add a reasonable mark-up. For more information on how to do this see our free guide.
STEP THREE: ENJOY YOUR EXTRA TIME
- Take some time off, leave the office at a reasonable hour, grab a coffee with a friend, or use this time to generate more business. Do whatever makes you happy!

IMPORTANT: We are not a law firm. We are a specialized company that connects freelance lawyers/law clerks in our network with sole practitioners, law firms and in-house legal departments. Flex freelance lawyers do not take on our own clients. If you are not a lawyer and you are looking for a lawyer to represent you, we unfortunately cannot help you. Please consider contacting the lawyer referral service at the Law Society of Ontario. For more information on the role of a "freelance lawyer" and how we differ from sole practitioners (lawyers who work on their own) please see our helpful blog post here.
