James' Experience

James has a diverse background that foregrounds both experience in corporate/commercial, constitutional, and administrative law and very well-honed research and writing skills.

He was a research lawyer at Ogilvy Renault/Norton Rose Canada in Toronto for six years and has run his own public law firm for the past two years.

He has a PhD in law (specialization in constitutional and administrative law) and an earlier PhD in English literature, and is able to take on complex and demanding projects and bring them to a successful conclusion. He has many publications and has been cited in Supreme Court of Canada judgments.
