Lisa started her freelance legal services business in 2002, after spending the first 7 years of her career in alternative dispute resolution. The focus of her freelance legal services is in family law, where over the course of her career, she has appeared at Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Lisa now provides support for lawyers with research, drafting pleadings, affidavits, and facta. She also prepares financial statements and organizes all the necessary information to compile financial disclosure briefs. She assists lawyers in preparing for Questioning and trial. Lisa also writes and edits papers for various legal conferences and co-authored the chapter about family law in Ontario for a book on jurisdictional comparisons.
