Scott assists lawyers and law firms with: 

Support for all aspects of a litigation matter, including:

  • legal research, opinions, strategy and document review
  • drafting pleadings, motions, factums and pretrial/mediation briefs
  • discovery preparation (affidavit of documents, question outlines, document review, etc.) and discovery appearances
  • trial preparation (preparing witnesses, preparing question outlines, research, etc.)
  • court appearances (motions and trials)

Experience:

Scott was born and raised in northern Ontario. He completed his undergraduate studies at Laurentian University in Sudbury. After that, he attended law school at the University of Ottawa where he graduated in 2016 with the academic distinction Magna Cum Laude.

After being called to the bar in 2017, Scott returned to his roots and began his legal career at a large firm in northern Ontario where he practiced exclusively in the areas of civil litigation and personal injury. Scott then went out on his own as a sole practitioner in 2021. Scott has experience representing clients at hearings and trials in Superior Court and Small Claims Court, as well as appeals before the Divisional Court.

​Outside of the practice of law, you can find Scott on the golf course. He competes in amateur tournaments in the north and across Ontario.
